People in the Midwest love barbecue—and a restaurant brand that’s been setting the standard in this region since the ‘90s is RibCrib. With 55 locations in 11 states and a mindset for growth, they were frustrated by years of lagging sales. They needed a more responsive agency with the digital chops to reignite excitement for their promotions, local LTOs and overall affinity for their famous ‘cue.

We knew their dollars weren’t the problem. It’s where they were putting them. After examining their media mix, we reallocated their money to more effectively reach their target audience and get more out of every cent.

With our focus primarily on media, our team planned a full digital and traditional blitz that hit their audience from all angles. Our strategy included awareness tactics and promotions for their overall brand, but we also zeroed in on small town locations that form the heart of their fan base with geo-targeted digital and social ads.

Tactics included boosted posts to reach their followers on social with relevant LTOs and promotions, supported by email marketing. We also ran ads on Facebook, YouTube and Google display to grow their following, bolstered by radio, TV and outdoor messages near their restaurant locations.
